Administrative staff said cooperative purchase agreements obtained via the Arizona State Procurement Office are typically valid for five years and that the state extended the agreement to seven years; approving board action allows the district to take advantage of the extra two years. The district estimated the spend on the cooperative purchasing agreement would be approximately $31,000.
