Residents praise festival operations, report coyote sightings; mayor opposes lethal response

Jim Murphy of 3709 Susquehanna Avenue said pavers there remain incomplete; he said photographers had been taking pictures of a lot across the street to document coyotes and suggested neighbors may be feeding the animals. Mayor Ernest Troiano Jr. responded that trapping is not an option and that he would not authorize shooting coyotes; Commissioner Steve Mikulski said he had observed a coyote behaving normally and suggested wildlife activity was typical.
