Village of Bonduel/Town of Hartland Fire Commission moves into closed session over fit tests; billing update postponed

Committee member Kevin Watermolen made a motion, seconded by Mike Miner, “to move to closed session to discuss fire fighter fit test results, department guidelines, fire fighter performance, membership attendance,” pursuant to Wis. Stat. Chapter 19, subchapter V, §19.85(1)(c). A roll-call vote was taken and the motion carried unanimously; the commission entered closed session at 5:43 p.m. The commission reconvened in open session at 6:26 p.m. following a motion by Tim Leitermann, seconded by Russ Gehm; the minutes do not record any formal action taken during the closed session.
After returning to open session, the commission postponed agenda item H2, concerning fire department billing invoice updates, by consensus and moved the matter to the next scheduled meeting. The commission announced its next meeting for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. A motion by Tim Leitermann, seconded by Dave Bohm, to adjourn carried unanimously and the meeting ended at 6:45 p.m.
