Bonduel committee recommends putting North Jefferson Street pavement project out to bid after LRIP award

Jesse Rankin, Director of Municipal Operations, presented two construction estimates for North Jefferson Street: $90,875 for pavement only and $174,375 for pavement plus stormwater improvements.
Rankin recommended selecting the pavement-only option to address the road's deterioration given the available grant funds. After discussion, Tim Kelley moved and Kay Zuleger seconded a motion to recommend to the Board that North Jefferson Street be put out for bids for the pavement-only project. The motion carried unanimously.
The Committee's recommendation forwards the project to the Board; the documented estimates indicate that additional funding would be required to add stormwater work to this contract.
