Buffalo City council approves liquor, operator licenses and fireworks permit for July 4 events
Summary

At the June 12 meeting, City Clerk Jenny Ehlenfeldt moved (Czaplewski second) to approve multiple alcohol and cigarette licenses, and Council approved the motion unanimously. The licenses included Class B Beer & Liquor for River Ratz Saloon (Pawlak) and Lost Pirate Tiki Bar and Grill (Mueller), Class A Beer & Liquor for B&S Express (Michaels) and a cigarette license for B&S Express (Michaels). The Council also approved numerous operator licenses listed by the clerk.
The Council approved a Class B Temporary Beer License for VFW Post 10406 for July 4, 2023 at Buffalo City Park, and approved a fireworks permit for the Community Action Committee; the fireworks permit was approved with liability insurance coverage through Platte River Displays, Inc. Both motions were moved, seconded, and passed by an "all yes" vote among those voting.
Councilor Fuller moved and Councilor Czaplewski seconded a motion to pay bills; that motion also carried. The meeting then adjourned by motion, which was approved unanimously.
