He described planned updates to a small ball diamond to improve accessibility for different age groups, and said the village is continuing discussions about potential mountain biking trails in Tower Heights Park. Kahl also said the department is looking into purchasing cameras for Veterans Park.
Kahl noted crews recently met with street contractors to plan spring maintenance and that a meeting of Parks and Public Works committees on March 31 informed next steps. The items were presented for board awareness; no final contract awards or binding authorizations were recorded in the minutes.
