The Dawson County Board of Equalization met at 8:00 a.m. on July 15, 2020, in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Dawson County Courthouse in Lexington and approved two routine actions before adjourning at 8:05 a.m.
Chairman Dennis Rickertsen called the meeting to order and County Clerk Karla Zlatkovsky called the roll. Present were Commissioners P.J. Jacobson, Bill Stewart, E. Dean Kugler and Everett Hagan. The board noted that notice of the meeting had been published in the Lexington Clipper-Herald and that the Open Meetings Act poster was available for the public.
Commissioner Everett Hagan moved and Commissioner Bill Stewart seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the July 1, 2020 regular meeting. The motion carried with ayes from Jacobson, Kugler, Hagan, Stewart and Rickertsen.
Commissioner E. Dean Kugler moved and Commissioner P.J. Jacobson seconded a motion to approve extensions of the Homestead Exemption application filing date for Delbert Dishman, Gene Lauby and Jean Cissell. The motion carried with ayes from Kugler, Hagan, Stewart, Jacobson and Rickertsen.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 a.m. County Clerk Karla Zlatkovsky certified that the subjects of the proceedings had been included on the meeting agenda and that the minutes of the Dawson County Board of Equalization were available for public inspection. The minutes and signatures appear in the official record.
