Intern rolling out maternal-infant assessment survey and town-clerk postcard distribution

Tara, the partnership's summer intern, briefed the advisory board on outreach work to identify gaps in maternal and infant services and described an immediate plan to deploy a maternal-infant assessment survey and distribute resource postcards via town clerks.
Tara said she has interviewed multiple community service providers and will post a survey link (two-week response window) to gather information on care received, access challenges and desired programs for expecting parents and caregivers of children up to 36 months. She asked advisory-board members to share the survey on local communications channels once the staff email posts the link.
Tara also reported she coordinated with town clerks to include a postcard with the resource-guide link in birth-certificate mailings or handed out with in-person requests. Clerks in participating towns already hold a supply of about 30 postcards, and Tara said staff can reprint and resupply clerks as postcards deplete.
Board members encouraged Tara's outreach, offered additional contacts (food pantry, local school and senior-center liaisons) and asked staff to include the survey link in follow-up minutes.
Next steps: Mikaela will circulate the survey link and meeting minutes with outreach instructions so board members can share the survey; Tara will continue community referrals and data collection.
