Funding will be handled through line-item transfers within the Water Fund. Staff noted the FY26 budget included $150,000 for lagoon/sludge removal with Reed Environmental coming in at $127,000, leaving roughly $23,000 under that line item; an additional $3,500 in equipment maintenance was earmarked for HSP work. The council approved the work and authorized the transfers, 8-0.
Councilors directed staff to complete the required transfers and proceed with the pump rehabilitation as described in the staff report.
