- NYSERDA solar grant acceptance: speaker 9 asked the Board to accept a $100,000 NYSERDA award for solar panels installed at Harbor Island Park and to establish a capital project to pay the vendor; staff noted a small additional local payment of $2,672 above the grant that will be reimbursed by NYSERDA.
- Workers’ compensation self‑insurance: Steve (speaker 3) presented a quote from the New York State Comp Alliance as a potential municipal group self‑insurance option with projected savings and added training resources; staff will place the item on the legislative agenda for formal consideration.
