Richmond Water and Sewer Commission approves minutes and warrants, moves Sept. meeting to Sept. 2
Summary

At the start of the Aug. 18 session, the Richmond Water and Sewer Commission completed routine business including approval of minutes and warrants and scheduling changes.
The Commission approved minutes from Aug. 11, 2025; the Chair called for the vote and said "Motion passes." The Commission then considered warrant number 22710 in matter 2900103Decimal38; Committee member (S4) moved to approve the warrant and S5 seconded; the Chair recorded the vote as passing.
On scheduling, Committee member (S2) moved to reschedule the regular Sept. 1 meeting to Sept. 2 (the day after Labor Day). After discussion and a voice roll, the Chair said the motion passed and noted members’ conflicts with the original date. The Chair confirmed: "Motion passes, so we're moving the meeting from the 1st to the September 2." The Commission also reported there were no purchase orders to approve at this session.
The Commission adjourned after adding the curb-stop demonstration and price estimate to the Sept. 2 agenda and arranging to mail several easement packets that remain outstanding.
The meeting was adjourned following a routine poll of members.
