Staff described two bids to replace two sets of doors and explained the need for the doors to interface with a planned access‑control system. The owner’s representative said Portland Glass’s quote included electrified hardware and a power supply, while Acme’s package required adding electrification, yielding different total costs. After discussion about contingencies and some expired bid dates, the board voted to approve Acme Glass for the project with funds to come from the Town Center Reserve Fund.
Separately, staff said the Town Center committee is preparing two RFPs: one for property management (routine non‑capital maintenance) and another for an owner’s project manager to guide capital planning. Staff expect to post the RFPs within a week and return to the board after proposals are evaluated; members asked that proposals come back through the Town Center Committee for recommendation.
The board also appointed Select Board member David Sander and member Bart Hill to fill two slots on the Town Center Committee; both appointments passed by voice vote.
