Committee reports included Leon Holden’s update on training and collaboration events, Rachel Graham’s brief on the JEDI co‑chair activities and an engagement‑committee update describing five feedback sessions and new sessions scheduled June 30 and July 14. The committee appointed a working group for the Lehi McQueen Clareborn Strength and Diversity Award consisting of Veronica Pillar, Leon Holden, Irene Weiser and Robert Brown; the chair recorded the consensus appointment for the minutes.
Rachel Graham, deputy county clerk, also informed the committee of a June 3, 2026 New York law change requiring sellers to remove historically discriminatory restrictive covenants and directing county clerks to supply a fee‑waived form for recording modification documents. The meeting closed with no additional formal votes and a note that the disability‑pride proclamation must be submitted by July 8 at 5 P.M.
The committee adjourned with staff directed to add minutes and follow up on action items where indicated.
