The board also awarded a contract for upgrades at the Dutch Meadows Sewer District pump station to a pump services contractor for up to $159,250, authorized the director of the Clifton Park Senior Community Center to buy a Toshiba e-Studio copier/printer for up to $5,700 under NY State contract PM68135, and authorized an emergency payment of up to $7,500 to Buddy's Tree Service for removal of a storm‑damaged triple-trunk pine behind 731 Grooms Road (retroactive to 06/18/2026).
Other items: the board added a fire code enforcement officer position to the building and development department and authorized posting; agreed to a settlement with the Civil Service Employee Association (CSEA) as presented; authorized solicitation of bids for a plan to add approximately 60–80 parking spaces at the senior center with provisions for EV chargers; appointed Stacy Simmons to the tree committee; and set public hearings on a proposed 180‑day moratorium on certain commercial/industrial cannabis operations (07/21/2026 at 7:02 p.m.) and on water improvements for the Eastside Drive area (07/21/2026 at 7:05 p.m.).
