Froid council approves minutes and July claims; plans notices for delinquent utility accounts

At the July 15 meeting the Froid Town Council approved the June 10, 2024 minutes after a motion by Council member Gale Strandlund, seconded by Laurie Young. During public comment, Penny Ryder asked for clarification about what “ARPA” stands for.
Later in the meeting the council reviewed delinquent water, sewer and garbage accounts and agreed to distribute door hangers and mail letters to residents on the delinquency list. Council member Gale Strandlund asked for a future discussion on strategies to reduce delinquencies.
Council also approved payment of July claims after a motion from Council member Laurie Young, seconded by Tyler Harris. Both motions were recorded as carried in the minutes.
