Froid library seeks additional bids for roof drainage; librarian says funds are available

During the July 15 meeting Librarian Sheri Harvey informed the council that the library has sufficient savings to cover the quoted cost for repairs to roof drainage. Mayor Sheri Crain said she will arrange for another contractor to inspect the project and council asked for additional quotes before approving work.
Council did not authorize spending at the meeting. Members expressed a preference to see multiple bids to confirm cost and scope before any contract is awarded.
