Director of Public Works Matthew Risch told the Village of Adell board Jan. 14 that he intends to move four to five trees to the park/dog park this spring and will bring Sheboygan County tree-sale information to the February meeting. Risch also proposed expanding the dump area by removing old dead trees; the board approved a motion allowing Anthony Bliesner’s father to remove the dead trees at no cost to the village.
Risch reported that the Adell Fire Department received a $200,000 donation from the National Exchange Bank/Stone Foundation to cover costs for a used fire engine and a new utility terrain vehicle (UTV). President Andy Schmitt thanked the National Exchange Bank/Stone Foundation during the meeting.
The minutes do not describe procurement steps, delivery schedules, or whether the donation covers all costs; further administrative follow-up with the fire department or clerk’s office would be required for those details.
