Board tables high‑school trustee appointment; schedules interview and committee meetings

The Kalispell Public Schools Board tabled action on appointing a new high‑school trustee and said staff will re‑contact the applicant to schedule an interview. The chair said the interview committee will consist of Jennifer, Sue and the chair, and the interview is tentatively set for next Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Trustees were also notified of upcoming committee meetings: a finance committee meeting is scheduled for Sept. 6 at 7:30 a.m. in the administration basement followed by a negotiations committee meeting the same morning at 9 a.m. The board also noted the regular meeting date was moved to next Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Flex Room.
A motion to adjourn followed later in the meeting and carried by voice vote.
