Shawn Choate, Davis County Human Resources Director, presented a proposed renewal of an analytic data-use agreement under which the Public Employees Health Program (PEHP) will continue to use Cedar Gate Technologies to compile employee health-utilization data into reports for Group Benefits Services (GBS). The reports are used for quarterly reviews and year-end benefit renewals.
Choate said the agreement covers the compilation and delivery of utilization reports to GBS. According to the staff presentation, the reports summarize employee claims and utilization trends and are intended to inform benefit design and annual renewals. The minutes record that the Commissioners asked no questions during the presentation and no action was taken at the work session.
The item will be included in materials when the agreement is brought back for formal consideration at a Commission meeting and all related documents will remain on file with the Davis County Clerk’s Office.
