Davis County commissioners on June 30 approved a contract with ClearGov for financial reporting software intended to replace manual processes and improve the county's reporting efficiency and quality.
Scott Parke, the county controller, presented the request and said the ClearGov software will replace manual processes and "greatly increase efficiency and quality." The contract terms listed a one-time payment of $21,812.50 and ongoing fees of $29,431.25 with a 3% annual increase; the contract term runs from June 30, 2026, to June 30, 2031.
The motion to approve Item #2026-664 was made by Bob Stevenson and seconded by John Crofts; all present voted aye. County minutes indicate supporting documents and the signed contract will be retained by the Controller's Office.
Next steps: Controller Parke's office will work with ClearGov to implement the system and transition reporting procedures away from the current manual methods.
