East Rutherford Board approves slate of compliance, curriculum, personnel, facilities and finance motions

On the recommendation of Interim Superintendent Frank Scarifield, the board approved motions S1 through S5 (compliance) and C1 through C7 (curriculum). Curriculum item C7 authorizes participation in the Bergen Brain Busters competition for the middle school program.
The personnel committee presented and the board approved motions P1 through P16, which the agenda lists as routine personnel actions. The board approved PF1, the monthly facilities calendar, and the finance committee’s items F1 through F16.
Votes were taken by roll call following the return from executive session; the minutes record affirmative roll‑call responses from the members present. The board previously noted an abstention by the president on the May 21 minutes during the minutes adoption vote earlier in the meeting.
