Adell trustees approve Cedar Corporation consultation, appoint Eric Cline to Streets & Parks and back playground repairs

Director of Public Works Matt Risch reported that adding a second port-a-potty on the north side of the park would be costlier than a park rental; the board took no action on that item. The Streets & Parks Committee recommended placing new or used playground equipment on the south side of the existing equipment and hiring a mason to repair concrete pads that had been improperly removed. Trustee Brian Parr moved the recommendation, Trustee Leighton Holtz seconded it, and the motion carried.
Village President Andy Schmitt moved, and Trustee Bill Such seconded, to create an ad hoc committee to develop a long-term plan for park improvements, including the ballpark, dog park, equipment and shelters; the motion carried with all trustees present voting in favor. The board also appointed Trustee Eric Cline to the Streets & Parks Committee and Tree Board for a one-year trustee seat earlier in the meeting.
