At the Feb. 4 meeting the Wrenshall City Council administered the oath to newly elected Councilor Sabrina Weber and handled several routine administrative matters.
Councilor Weber was sworn into office and then participated in votes throughout the meeting. The council approved the Consent Agenda that included meeting minutes and payment of checks and electronic transfers totaling Pre-paid $10,702.02 and February bills $21,855.78 (checks #31833–31857 and E-checks 63e–65e).
The council approved a five-year service agreement with CTC for fiber optic installation, internet, and phone services after a motion by Councilor Weber and a second by Councilor Studniski. The Clerk also announced that Hattie Ankrum won the MRWA Fourth Grade Poster Contest; the poster will advance to further judging at the MRWA Annual Conference.
Council approved an updated 2026 Appointments List and moved to remove Duane Ziebarth as an authorized bank signer and add Acting Mayor Joyce Gvesrude as a signer. The council approved the 2026 Pay Equity Report. Discussion of the Complaint Policy was tabled until April. The meeting adjourned at 7:40 PM.
These actions represent routine governance, updates to city administration and personnel authorizations, and recognition of a local student achievement.
