Price County panel advances inclement‑weather and wearable‑device handbook policies and a wage‑setting procedure

At its May 12 meeting the Price County Administration Committee voted to advance three draft items for further consideration by the full County Board or staff. The committee reviewed an Inclement Weather & Emergency Closure draft policy, discussed department heads’ ability to close offices or permit remote work, and recorded that the County Board Chairperson would be added as part of the decision‑making process; a motion by Joe Baratka with a second from Paula Houdek recommended moving the draft forward for full County Board consideration and the motion carried.
