Representatives of Habitat for Humanity Northwest New Jersey presented to the Green Township Committee on July 21 seeking to partner on affordable housing builds.
Pam Vreeland and Ben Eskow described Habitat's construction and homeowner-selection processes and said the organization hopes to partner with the Township to help address affordable-housing obligations. Ben Eskow discussed the possibility of expanding the number of Habitat-built homes in Green Township. Committee members thanked the presenters and requested the list of lots Habitat has identified in the township for further review.
