Independent auditors issue clean opinion on Rolla's FY2024 finances; council accepts audit

Baker said the audit was delayed because RMU changed accounting systems, which affected the schedule for closing the city's component of the audit. Councilmember Steve Jackson moved to accept the audit; Councilmember Andrew Behrendt seconded. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
City Administrator Keith Riesberg acknowledged the efforts of the Finance Department in achieving the clean audit. No additional fiscal actions were taken during the meeting; the audit acceptance will be filed in city records.
