Hainesport Board elects Jason Cardonick president; reappoints policies, vendors and signatories for 2022

The board designated Investors Bank as an official depository and confirmed signatory assignments for district accounts (General Fund, Payroll, Cafeteria, student activities and memorial accounts). Burlington County Times and the Courier Post were named as the official newspapers for legal notices and public advertisements through the January 2023 reorganization. The board adopted its regular meeting schedule for 2022 (dates published in the agenda) and designated delegates and alternates to the New Jersey School Boards Association and the Burlington County School Boards Association.
President Cardonick announced committee chairs and membership: Student Services/Community Relations (Chair: Kristin Jakubowski), Finance/Facilities/Technology (Chair: Keith Peacock), and Human Resources (Chair: Michael Morelli). Mr. Jeffrey Duda was named the board’s representative to the Hainesport Education Foundation, with Jillian Ormsby as alternate.
At the public comment portion of the meeting, Emily Cardonick of Longfellow Lane offered brief congratulations to the newly elected board president. In new business, Superintendent Corn stated that the Jan. 3 snow day would be made up in accordance with the district calendar. The meeting adjourned at approximately 6:35 p.m.; the next public session was scheduled for Jan. 25, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
