The board approved Resolution #21-22-10 to accept ARP funding totaling $854,443. The district presented the ARP breakdown to the board as: $679,443 from Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER); $50,000 for Accelerated Learning Coaching and Educator Support; $40,000 for Evidence-Based Summer Learning and Enrichment; $40,000 for Evidence-Based Comprehensive Beyond-the-School-Day Activities; and $45,000 for New Jersey Tiered System of Supports (NJTSS) mental health staffing. The board also approved Resolution #21-22-8 accepting a $30,347 School Security Grant for the 2020 school year.
The board authorized a letter of authorization to use ARP grant funds to go to bid for capital work identified by district staff: renovation of a kindergarten bathroom, drainage repair on the side of the building, and installation of a new gym floor.
