The Hamilton Township Environmental Commission discussed scheduling for its annual cleanup and tentatively selected April 3, 2027 after noting that April 10 is likely to conflict with Little League opening day and April 17 would be late in the month for vegetation work.
Commissioners said they contacted Cashel to confirm Little League dates for 2027 so the commission can avoid conflicts. The group also planned outreach and volunteer coordination tied to the cleanup date.
On community events, Commissioner Karl Vetter said National Night Out on Aug. 4, 2026 will center on monarch domes and pollinator education. Secretary Madison Nebbia will reach out to the Girl Scouts to ask whether they want to join the commission’s outreach at the event.
