During the March 30 special meeting the council approved Building Permit #02-2026, which authorizes moving in a pre-fabricated storage shed at 304 Locust St.; the permit approval was moved by Aaron Cox, seconded by Rob Jackson, and carried by unanimous ayes.
Treasurer Sindergard told the council the city will receive an insurance credit because of underwriting errors on last year’s policy; the minutes say the credit will decrease the upcoming renewal quote but do not list amounts. The council then held a budget workshop. Clerk Brandi Henderson was assigned to finalize the budget figures taking into account added proprietary revenue and the insurance decrease; no final totals were recorded in the meeting minutes.
No public objections or contested procedural matters were recorded for these administrative items. Follow-up actions listed in the minutes call for the clerk to complete budget figures and for staff to finalize sale and ordinance paperwork where applicable.
