Ogdensburg board adopts SOP manual, appoints delegates and accepts immunization audit

The Ogdensburg Borough Board of Education at its Feb. 4 meeting approved a package of board-business items that included adoption of a standard operating procedures (SOP) and internal controls manual to be maintained in the business office, appointments of delegates and alternates to the New Jersey and Sussex County School Board Associations and to the Sussex County Educational Services Commission, and assignment of board members to standing committees for the coming year.
The motion to approve the board business items was presented by Ms. Kondik and seconded by Ms. Schinn. The minutes list the appointed delegates: Delegate to New Jersey and Sussex County School Board Associations — Mr. Mortensen (with Ms. Allen listed as State/County Alternate); Member to the Sussex County Educational Services Commission Board of Directors — Mr. Donegan (Alternate: Ms. Kondik); New Jersey School Board Legislative Delegate — Ms. Schinn (Alternate: Mr. Menendez). Committee assignments were recorded (Personnel/Program: Schinn (Chair), Menendez, Kondik; Facilities/Finance: Donegan (Chair), Allen, Gorsky; Negotiations: Schinn, Menendez, Kondik; Ad Hoc Committee: Mr. Mortensen).
The board also approved the district’s immunization audit for the 2024–25 school year. The board vote on the business package was recorded as AYE — Mr. Mortensen, Mr. Gorsky, Ms. Kondik, Mr. Donegan, Mr. Menendez and Ms. Schinn; ABSENT — Ms. Allen.
