Christian County Library Executive Director Will Blydenburgh told the commission that one vacancy—referred to as the South County position—existed because a board member had resigned. He asked the commission to clarify which appointee would fill the immediate vacancy and which would fill the expiring Nixa Area term, because the South County appointment could take effect immediately while the Nixa Area seat would not be effective until July 1. The commission moved to appoint Koleman Parsley to the South County position, effective immediately, and Echo Schneider to the Nixa Area position, with that term beginning July 1.
