The Ogdensburg Borough Board of Education approved a package of routine administrative and financial resolutions at its Jan. 2 meeting.
Among the actions, the board designated Provident Bank as the district depository and approved authorized signatories for accounts including the General Fund, Agency, Payroll and Student Activities accounts. The board also authorized use of facsimile signatures where permitted, designated Provident Bank and the New Jersey Cash Management Fund for investment purposes, approved a mileage reimbursement rate of $0.67 per mile for 2025 and renewed a $250 petty cash fund.
Additionally, the board reappointed the Business Administrator as claims auditor and authorized the Business Administrator and the Superintendent to verify and pay bills between meetings, with those payments to be listed as paid at the next board meeting. These motions passed by roll-call vote with five members present and two absences.
