At the Jan. 21 meeting Ray Faccenda, chair of the Twin Lakes security committee, presented the committee's year‑end figures showing 3,418 security incidents recorded in 2025. He said the most frequent incident types were vacation checks, unpermitted pods and dumpsters, vehicle parking violations, handbook violations and open garage doors.
Board members noted enforcement activity in the previous year included 263 parking violations that security reported to the "Eyes on Federal Way" app for potential FWPD involvement. No fines or specific enforcement outcomes were recorded in the minutes; the board discussed ongoing monitoring and reporting procedures.
The minutes also note that homeowners raised parking near mailboxes and other parking concerns during the Homeowners’ Forum and the board confirmed that notifications about rule violations on rental homes are sent to the property owners rather than tenants.
No formal policy changes or new enforcement protocols were adopted at the meeting; the board's security and ACC committees will continue monitoring and reporting incidents to appropriate channels.
