Marshall board unanimously appoints Heather Crawford as treasurer and finance director

Administrator Brandon Bledsoe told the board that two candidates were interviewed by the Finance & Oversight Committee and by him, and the committee advised offering the position to Crawford. The transcript notes Crawford signed her offer letter on Monday, Oct. 21.
Edward Schmitz moved and Renee Jackson seconded the motion to appoint Crawford. The motion carried 4-0, with Schuepbach, Bowman, Schmitz and Jackson voting in favor. No further conditions or amendments to the appointment were recorded.
The board adjourned at 6:30 p.m.; Clerk Michael Wetzel prepared the minutes of the special meeting.
