The Marshall Village Board unanimously approved Resolution 202405 on Sept. 16, designating which village officials are authorized to declare official intent under reimbursement bond regulations, the board’s minutes show.
Administrator Bledsoe elaborated on the resolution before the board voted. Board member Jason Pitzer moved to approve the resolution and board member Julie Bowman seconded the motion. The board voted 6-0 in favor; the minutes list John Schuepbach, Julie Bowman, Jason Pitzer, Ryan Frey (participating virtually), Renee Jackson (participating virtually) and Edward Schmitz as voting yes. Elesa Kinder was recorded as absent.
The special meeting began at 3:30 p.m., at the Village Hall meeting room at 130 S. Pardee St., and concluded at 3:37 p.m. A motion to adjourn by Bowman, seconded by Pitzer, carried 6-0. The minutes note that these are the unofficial minutes and that they will be approved at the Oct. 8, 2024 regular Village Board meeting.
The resolution is listed in the minutes as Resolution 202405. The minutes do not specify which officials were named in the resolution text, nor do they record verbatim language of Administrator Bledsoe’s remarks; the record states only that the administrator "elaborated." For records or procedural questions about the designated officials or the resolution language, the minutes indicate the clerk’s office is the point of contact.
