Oxford’s Township Committee on Nov. 13 approved a shared-services agreement with Warren County that allows municipalities to borrow county Department of Public Works equipment and personnel when available.
Resolution 2024-137 adopts the county agreement that lists scope, fees (Schedule A), an equipment return/inspection process, hourly billing with potential half‑day or full‑day rounding at the county supervisor’s discretion, and insurance/indemnification requirements. The agreement term runs Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2028, and may be canceled on 30 days’ written notice.
The resolution requires municipalities to appoint a municipal contact person for scheduling and to process county vouchers within 45 days. The county will provide certificates of insurance and carry specified public liability and property-damage limits. The committee approved the resolution by roll call (Ayes: 3).
