Newton said the town must submit quarterly reports on how grant funds are spent; council voted to proceed by motion.
Councilmember Mattox moved to proceed with the project; Councilmember Brame seconded and the motion carried. Newton said staff will prepare plans and the conservation easement paperwork and that VOF will issue the grant payment when the required steps are complete.
