Oldmans Township closes Camp Pedricktown trust, approves tax cancellations and routine administrative items

The Oldmans Township Committee at its Sept. 11 meeting approved a series of routine financial and administrative actions including the closure of a trust account and several tax cancellations.
The committee adopted Resolution 2024-110 to close the Camp Pedricktown trust and transfer $151,108.03 to the township's general surplus account. Separately, Resolutions 2024-113, 2024-114 and 2024-115 cancelled property taxes for listed lots associated with totally disabled veterans; each was moved by William Ferrell, seconded by Dean Sparks and approved.
Other administrative approvals included a $268 permit-fee refund under Resolution 2024-116 and Resolution 2024-117, which awarded an engineering contract to Natural Systems Utilities for up to $4,400 to design a chlorine analyzer system and assist with bidding and installation oversight for Auburn Water.
A property-maintenance lien (Resolution 2024-111) for Block 35/Lot 2 in the amount of $307.47 was approved by the two voting members with Mayor David Murphy recorded as abstaining from that vote.
The committee also approved payment of bills and adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
