Action 26-FFP-26 authorized payment of bills in the amount of $691,486.79. The board also accepted a $2,000 safety grant from the New Jersey Schools Insurance Group for use in 2025–26, approved the district’s Comprehensive Maintenance Plan and Schedule M-1 for 2025–26, and approved travel for Patricia Duell to attend the Association of School Business Officials International Leadership Conference Jan. 28–30, 2026 in New Orleans.
Action 26-FFP-31 authorized the School Business Administrator to enter into an agreement with the Borough of Lebanon for use of school property during park renovations and obligates the borough to restore school grounds to the same or better condition after work is complete. During “Old Business” Council President Richard Burton and Borough Clerk Karen Romano updated the board on the park construction, explained access needed to the school driveway and discussed reparations and a grease trap outside the former school kitchen that the borough and board said needs a decision on whether to leave it in place or remove it.
The finance motions were moved by Danielle Nugent and seconded by Benedict Valliere and carried on a roll-call vote of 5 ayes, 0 no, 0 abstain. The minutes record no additional conditions or fiscal contingencies tied to the authorization for borough use in the board action text.
The board reconvened from a later executive session and adjourned at 8:09 p.m.
