El Rio/Del Norte MAC approves March and April minutes; publishes cleanup dates and adjourns

At the May 15, 2025 meeting the El Rio/Del Norte Municipal Advisory Council approved the meeting summaries for March 20 and April 17 after a motion by Aaron Wedemeyer and a second from Brenda Heredia; the motion was recorded as unanimously approved. The council also recorded public comments about local activities and published the E.J. Harrison community-cleanup dates: El Rio (Eternal Life Church) on June 14 and Nyeland Acres (Nyeland Acres Community Center) on Oct. 25.
Council members commented on a local pedestrian project and noted that Nyeland Promise will receive a grant award this Sunday at the Camarillo Ranch House. The meeting adjourned at 8:04 p.m.; the council set its next meeting for July 17, 2025 at 7 p.m.
