Committee sets June 23 workshop, seeks input on Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan

Co-Chairman Rachel Fuller told the committees that members were asked at the prior meeting to draft values, a mission statement, and goals for the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan but that she had not yet completed a draft. Fuller asked members to submit any offline input so she can circulate a consolidated draft for committee review.
Fuller said the CORP survey has been updated to reflect earlier suggestions and invited further edits. The committee confirmed a public workshop for June 23 and discussed outreach ideas, including a prize drawing and family activities; Fuller said she will coordinate with the library to plan activities and encouraged members to forward suggestions.
No formal votes were taken on the CORP material at the May 19 meeting. The committee will review revisions and the survey before the June 23 workshop.
