At its Dec. 11 meeting the Palmyra Board of Education recognized Students of the Month across district grade levels and reported recent school activities. Ms. Broadbelt and Ms. Lee presented student awards; recipients named in the minutes included Grade 5 Lailah Bey, Grade 7 Bennett Hart, Grade 9 Alivia Brown and Grade 11 Justin Moore.
The Superintendent’s report noted the Charles Street School playground opened on Dec. 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and that staff hosted a Multilingual Language Learners Night during parent‑teacher conferences. The minutes also acknowledged a successful Toy for Tots drive, winter concerts on Dec. 10 and other extracurricular activities. The board thanked staff and volunteers and recorded these recognitions in the meeting minutes.
