Paramus Board of Adjustment elects officers in reorganization meeting

At its Jan. 8 meeting the Paramus Board of Adjustment unanimously elected Thomas Locicero as chairman, Mohammed Reda as vice chairman and Tracy Colasurdo as secretary; the board also voted to repost for interested board professionals.
The Borough of Paramus Board of Adjustment elected its officers during a reorganization at the Jan. 8 meeting.
Chairman Thomas Locicero was elected after a motion by Ms. Kamal, seconded by Al Scrivanich; the vote was recorded as 7–0 in favor. Mr. Shah moved to nominate Mohammed Reda for vice chairman, seconded by Mr. Al-Yousefy, and that motion likewise passed 7–0. Mr. Locicero moved to nominate Tracy Colasurdo for secretary; Mr. Reda seconded and the nomination carried 7–0.
The board also voted to repost the notice for board professionals so that both new and continuing members can review interested candidates. The reopening request was made by Chairman Locicero during the reorganization portion of the agenda.
The meeting opened with a statement that adequate notice had been provided in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act; the board recorded that notices were transmitted to The Record and posted on the borough website and bulletin board.
The reorganization votes were recorded by the board secretary as unanimous among the voting members present. No public comment was recorded during the officer elections.
