The Village of Catskill Planning Board voted Aug. 25 to approve a site-plan application for AutoZone’s proposed location at 226 W. Bridge St., subject to comments from the county.
Board Chair Gilbert Bagnell opened and closed the public hearing after noting that the board had previously declared the application complete and issued a negative declaration. No applicant representative appeared at the meeting.
The approval included a referral to the county for additional review and any comments the county may require. The board recorded the motion and directed staff to process the county’s input before finalizing any administrative permits.
The decision follows the board’s earlier determination that the environmental review was complete. The board did not record detailed conditions in the minutes beyond the county referral; staff follow-up is expected to capture any technical stipulations.
The board adjourned its business for the evening after discussing additional agenda items related to change-of-use requests and subdivision referrals.
