At the Aug. 19 meeting Palmyra Council approved a consent agenda of resolutions (2024‑178 through 2024‑194) covering grants, purchases, contract awards and personnel moves.
Key items recorded into the minutes included rescinding a prior Clean Fleet EV grant entry (Resolution 2024‑178), accepting a USDA Community Garden grant of $14,383 (2024‑179), awarding a breathing-air compressor recharging system contract to Air & Gas Technologies ($64,538.23, Resolution 2024‑181), and awarding the West 3rd Street Sewer Repair Project to Coastline Excavating & Site Services, LLC in the amount of $326,875 (Resolution 2024‑194), subject to solicitor review and certification of funds by the CFO.
