Palmyra council appoints Ladonna De’Souza to fill vacant seat

Council President Timothy Howard moved to approve Resolution 2024-232, and Councilmember Jessica O’Connor seconded. The roll-call vote recorded five members in favor (Natashia Latimore, John Liebe, Michelle McCann, Jessica O’Connor and President Timothy Howard) and none opposed. Following adoption, Mr. Rosenberg administered the oath of office and De’Souza was sworn in as a councilwoman.

Jackson read De’Souza’s biographical summary into the record: a Palmyra High School graduate with a master’s degree in accounting and an MBA, owner of Accounting, Financial & Taxes Services, former HOA treasurer and current president of a board of trustees; the biography also described her local civic involvement.
