Fire Chief Brendan Kiniry reported to the Spofford Fire & Rescue Precinct commissioners on Jan. 15 that the department responded to 242 calls in 2025, of which 55% were medical and 45% were fire or public assistance.
"There were 242 calls for the year; 55% were medical and 45% were fire or public assistance calls," Chief Kiniry said, according to the minutes. He added that the National Incident Reporting System coding changed as of Jan. 1 and that he is becoming familiar with the new coding; the minutes say the data are now automatically available to the department.
