Chesterfield EDC previews March Business Expo and solicits Artisan Fair update

The Chesterfield Economic Development Committee confirmed at its Jan. 22 meeting that the Chesterfield Business Expo is scheduled for March 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Six businesses had signed up at the time of the meeting. Committee members discussed promotional options and decided a simple discount offer might be more workable than a raffle. Ron Rzasa said he has been posting notices on Facebook and Doreen Monahan agreed to place the event on Nextdoor.
Committee members also noted that Samantha Winchester had emailed past Artisan Fair participants; the committee asked for a status report and assigned Donna Roscoe to contact Winchester for an update. The EDC did not vote on event budgets or vendor rules at the meeting.
The Business Expo and Artisan Fair were treated as community events the committee will continue to promote in the run-up to March.
