The Town of Campton CIP Committee on Nov. 13, 2024, approved amended minutes and announced final capital reserve recommendations the committee will forward to the Board of Selectmen, including $185,000 for highway equipment, $150,000 for fire vehicles and $300,000 for the road fund.
Committee Chair Karl Kelly announced the 2025 recommendations during the meeting and said the committee had finalized the list for submission. The committee’s recommended Capital Reserve allocations were: Highway Department Equipment — $185,000; Municipal Building Fund — $50,000; Blair Bridge Fund — no additions this year; Fire Vehicles — $150,000; Solid Waste — $75,000; Road Fund — $300,000.
The committee recorded a procedural motion to approve the minutes with an amendment to replace the word “budget” with “recommend” throughout the minutes; Jim Butler moved to approve the minutes with that amendment, Jack Letvinchuk seconded, and the motion was unanimously approved.
The recommendations are advisory and will be considered by the Board of Selectmen as part of the town’s 2025 budget and capital planning process. The meeting adjourned at 1:42 p.m.
